Early Years Commitment at Bevan Lodge Pre School The Early Years Commitment is a way for us to develop a whole-setting approach to communication that is tailored to the needs of our Pre School. At Bevan Lodge Pre School we are making this commitment because early language is the foundation for learning and attainment, because strong language and communication skills are linked to school readiness and better outcomes for children and because for us to have a better understanding of more typical language development and communication, will help us to better identify and support children with speech, language and communication needs.
